Has territorial jurisdiction for the entire 4th ward of Washington Parish
Has adult criminal misdemeanor jurisdiction
Has juvenile jurisdiction (for felonies and misdemeanors)
Handles Child in Need of Care Cases including Adoptions
Handles all civil matters where the value in controversy is less than $25,000
