The Bogalusa Fire Department was established the same time the City was founded in 1914. The Department has grown over the years to 3 stations.

  • W.F. "Pete' Rayborn Memorial Station is our headquarters located at 200 Arkansas Avenue, built-in 1949

  • Station 2 was built in 1949 and since then has been remodeled and is located at 500 East 5th Street

  • Anthony J. Fiorenza Memorial Station or Station 3 is located at 505 West 8th Street, built-in 1960

BFD is the premier Department in the region, currently holding a Class 3 rating from Property Insurance Association of Louisiana. We have accomplished this through teamwork from our members, other Departments within the City, and the commitment from the Administration. The Department is looking forward to, along with the community, building a better Bogalusa

The Bogalusa Civil Service Board represents the citizens of Bogalusa in civil service matters. The Board promotes efficiency in dispatch of public business; and assures fair and impartial treatment for all classified civil service employees.
