Today marks #KingsDay, the official start of the #MardiGras season! This day, also known as #Epiphany, has deep historical and cultural roots. Traditionally, Kings Day honors the visit of the three wise men to the Christ child and is celebrated across the world with festivities, parades, and delicious treats!
Here in #Louisiana, Kings Day kicks off our #Carnival season, leading up to #FatTuesday. It's also the perfect excuse to enjoy one of our most cherished traditions: #KingCake! Whether you prefer it plain, filled, or covered in purple, green, and gold sugar, the King Cake is a sweet symbol of unity and celebration. And don't forget--if you find the baby inside, it's your turn to host the next King Cake!

Our hearts are heavy this morning as we extend our deepest condolences to the City of #NewOrleans in the wake of the tragic attack on #BourbonStreet. Such senseless violence affects us all, and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the entire New Orleans community during this difficult time.
